INTERCOUNTY FINALS - MARCH 2018

 A great achievement by both the Ladies and the Mens' B teams who attended the National Finals at Great Yarmouth on the 18th - 20th May 2018.  Fantastic team spirit and support from both sides saw the ladies into the semi-finals of the plate and the B team into the quarters of the plate. They did themselves and Cheshire proud.

LADIES INTERLEAGUE K/O CUP - NOVEMBER 2017

A fantastic performance by all the Cheshire Ladies during this years K/O Cup at Great Yarmouth. The A team got themselves through to the Semi-Finals and narrowly missed out in reaching the final, however they did themselves and Cheshire proud.  The B team also did themselves proud by narrowly missing out by 1 to finish 2nd and finished 3rd in their group, they were the only team to beat the overall winners in their group. Three of the ladies were new to the team and had never competed at this level before.  A special mention to Rachel Wong and Amanda Sweetmore who both finished top in their respective teams.

A great performance from the Ladies at Great Yarmouth, beating Saarf Yorky Shots 10-4, Worcestershire 9-5, Surrey 10-4, GMC 9-5 and Ladies of the Court 8-6. Topping their group, this took them into the Last 16 and their opponents were Derbyshire. After a few missed chances, they found themselves 5-2 down after the first session, but with good team spirit, they pulled it back to end the match at 7-7.  Unfortunately, they lost the 3 way playoff 2-1 and bowed out of the competition with their heads held high.
